ANGEL TREE GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER
Last year Immanuel Mokena supported Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries as their latest maternity home, located in East Dundee, IL, was being renovated. The home is now finished and accepting applications for residents. The Board of Stewardship is providing an opportunity to further bless this ministry through a “Christmas in July” Angel Tree campaign. Gift card donations or monetary donations are requested as the home prepares to accept the first residents and their babies. You can bless our preschool at the same time by ordering the gift cards through them. Just fill out the order form in the lobby and attach a check - the preschool will deliver the gift cards to the Board of Stewardship!

Groceries: Jewel-Osco, Aldi
Pizza Night: Dominos, Papa Johns

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE ON SUNDAY, 8/18, SO WE CAN ALL WORSHIP TOGETHER!
COST: $5/person 12 years and older, kids free

ALTAR FLOWER PROCEDURES
We will be purchasing altar flowers from the Flower Cottage. Two vases are $40; one vase is $20. They will deliver the flowers to the church! You can sign up for the current month or the next month on the west wall in the Lobby or other months in the Opportunities Book. Please make checks payable to the Ruth Society and place in the Ruth Society mailbox D1 in the classroom across from the office. Orders are due one week in advance.
COMMUNION OFFERED on 1st, 3rd, & 5th Sundays (and preceding Saturdays).
We are now using a hybrid communion system. Pastor gives each communicant a wafer and the Elder carries a tray which is WINE ONLY. Individual cup & wafer for juice & gluten free wafer are available at the table as you approach. If you have any questions, please feel free to talk to Pastor Aaron or one of the Elders.
NOW OFFERING GLUTEN FREE If anyone has health issues requiring gluten free communion wafers, please contact Pastor Schellhas.
