For your meditation and preparation for worship next week
Scripture readings for The Fourth Sunday after Epiphany: Deut. 18:15-20; 1 Corinithians 8:1-13; and Mark 1:21-28.  On Saturday or Sunday at home before worship, read the Scriptures, listen for what God says to you, and come to worship anticipating and ready to receive what God gives in His Word and worship.

"This Is The Life" Classic Movies from Lutheran Hour Ministries: Here are stories of faith-healing gone awry; a married couple's loss of their daughter; a pastor whose legalism was driving his members away; the bitter animosity of a father against his daughter's suitor; and more. In the end, each episode has one thing in common: God reigns through every event in our lives, and it is by faith in His Son-following and honoring Him-that our lives find their fullest meaning. Watch stars like Jack Nicholson, Leonard Nimoy, Angie Dickinson, and Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs cut their teeth on their craft-long before they hit the "big time." Monday, February 5th 6:30 to 8 pm will be the third video with Mike Farrell and Daniel J. Travanti.

Monday, March 5 6:30-8pm will be the fourth video with Leonard Nemoy. Please call Leslie Cosich at 708-642-1012 if you would like to see the videos. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex also.
